New President of IGE Glass Technologies

IGE Glass Technologies Inc., a leading single source provider of high quality glass fabrication machinery, service, and supplies, is pleased to announce that industry veteran Martin Bracamonte has been named President of IGE, effective immediately.

IGE’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Spellman, will remain fully active in continuing to guide the company with his vision and strategic planning for continued future growth, which includes the addition of Martin as an integral piece of IGE’s long-term succession planning.

“This is a major milestone for IGE. We’ve grown dramatically over the years and I’m determined to keep that trend going. We needed to shift the leadership duties to someone who could continue to build on what we’ve done over the past 4 decades in the glass industry, and help us take it to the next level. Martin is absolutely the best person for this role with his experience, stellar reputation, and vast industry knowledge. IGE, its manufacturers, and its loyal customer base are in great hands.”

Martin is a seasoned veteran of the glass industry and has held senior executive posts at some of the best organizations in the glass world, including Guardian Industries, NSG-Pilkington North America and NSG-Pilkington/Saint-Gobain South America. He knows the IGE brand and is looking forward to his new role.

IGE Glass Technologies will be appearing at Glassbuild America in September and will feature 12 its manufacturers in the IGE Pavilion (Booth locator #3837), showing a wide range of fabrication machinery and supplies. Bracamonte, along with Spellman and the entire IGE team, will be on hand to welcome existing and potential customers to the exhibits.
