Kent CC Bowled Over By TuffX

Date: 5 March 2015

Products from the TuffX Processed Glass portfolio were chosen as part of a multi-million pound renovation project at Beckenham Kent County Cricket ground.

The project which was near completion at the end of last year will dramatically improve facilities at the club.

TuffX was contracted to supply approximately 40m2 glass from its range as part of a new balustrade that overlooked the pitch. 33mm Clear Toughened Laminated glass rectangles were installed as part of a new spectator stand for 2,000 people that will increase the cricket ground’s capacity.

Other developments at the club include an indoor cricket school as well as physiotherapy treatment rooms, a gym, Pilates studio, and a conference and banqueting area that seats 160 people, with bar and kitchen facilities.

The contractors were delighted with the installation which has now turned the cricketing facilities into a true centre for excellence, where cricket can be run at every level.
