John Haws, the director of research and development for HHH Tempering Resources. I’ve been with the company since it was founded in 1994, so that would make it about 23 years.

One of the most common questions that we’re asked at HHH is about quality. And, one of the things that I believe is that the quality of the glass is directly related to the quality of the glass going into the system—in other words, what you’re doing to the glass before it gets to the tempering oven, the pre-processing. It’s kind of like garbage in, garbage out.
