Guernsey-Noble Safety Council honors commitment to safety at 13th Annual Awards Luncheon On March 24, Edgetech I.G. was honored with three awards celebrating the company’s enduring commitment to the health and safety of employees.

Presented by the Guernsey-Noble Safety Council at its 13th Annual Safety Luncheon, Edgetech’s three awards included the 100% Award, The Group Award and the Special Award. Edgetech’s sister company, LMI Custom Mixing, was also presented with the 100% Award.
 
“It is such an honor for members of the Lauren International family to receive awards from the Safety Council once again,” said Wayne E. Burley, Health and Safety Manager for Edgetech and LMI’s parent company, Lauren International. “Safety is a priority at all levels of our organization, and I would like to personally congratulate both Edgetech and LMI for their achievements.”
 
The 100% Award is granted to companies in Guernsey and Noble Counties that work an entire year without a lost-time injury or illness. Edgetech also earned the Group Award for the lowest incident rate in each group and the Special Award for companies that accumulate at least 500,000 hours and at least six months without a lost-time injury or illness.
