Carl F Groupco has launched the ‘XL’ multipoint door lock. Designed for Carl F Groupco by Fullex, the Secured by Design lock has been commissioned as a full PAS23/24 compliant solution, when used in conjunction with security keep plates.

With 92mm centres to suit Carl F Groupco’s standard Hoppe and Trojan unsprung door handle ranges, the lock features a single split spindle as standard for both front and back door installations. Offering wide ranging versatility, the XL can be configured for standard and short doors: a slave variant for French doors completes the range. Serrations are provided on all versions for optional shootbolts.

Commenting on the significance of the product introduction, John Crittenden,

Carl F Groupco Managing Director said:

“Carl F Groupco was established in mid 2010 to benefit from the best of two long established UK hardware suppliers. As a result of the merger, we offer a combined history of over 70 years and have amalgamated our expertise to develop our range.

“We set out to provide a joint product portfolio of quality lines that is one the largest in the industry incorporating leading hardware with innovative own brand components. The XL door lock complements our extensive range of door and window hardware that caters for a wide range of PVCu, timber and aluminium window and door designs.”

Product features for the XL include three bi-directional hooks; two anti-lift bolts; four rollers and a latch snib to prevent accidental door closure. One piece keeps, with integral steel dust buckets, are supplied as standard to aid and speed accurate fitting.

The Carl F Groupco portfolio includes Fuhr, Trojan, Hoppe, Siegenia and PN ranges. Product solutions cater for systems ranging from electronic door locks to fully reversible windows.
