Yanek becomes CGA executive director

Date: 21 December 2015

Bill Yanek has been named the Executive Director of the Canadian Glass Association (CGA) effective December 1, 2015.  Bill is currently the Executive Vice President of the Glass Association of North America (GANA) and President of its subsidiary association management company, Centric Management.

He will remain in those roles as he adds the CGA post.

“I am extremely excited to work more closely with CGA as it strives to provide industry leadership to the Canadian glass industry. CGA is an industry ally of GANA and also a new member of GANA’s Glazing Industry Code Committee (GICC). My role with GANA and this new appointment will complement each other and make both organizations more effective.”

As Executive Director, Bill Yanek assists CGA in their pursuits to represent and support the interests of the glass and related industries at the national level and to serve as the voice of the CGA membership. CGA also strives to act as a conduit for the flow and transfer of important industry information.
