XPAR Vision has won the Entrepreneurship Award of Groningen, the province in the Northern part of the Netherlands.

The ‘Groninger Ondernemingsprijs’ is awarded to highly innovative and successful companies, managed with outstanding entrepreneurship, leading to economic relevant activities in the province of Groningen.According to the jury “XPAR Vision is a symbol of a new generation of companies in Groningen, in which people work together on a clear mission in a horizontal organisation.” The jury was also very enthusiastic about the connection between the manufacturing industry, advanced sensor technology and the knowledge economy. The solid and sound financial position stimulates further investments in R&D and that has a positive effect on direct and indirect employment. The fact that XPAR Vision serves a global market from within the Netherlands makes the company the perfect ambassador. As a result of winning the prestigious award, CEO Paul Schreuders was asked to join the jury that will select next year’s winner.
