Unelko Corporation Announces New and Exciting Partnership with Bear Glass

As the inventor and manufacturer of the industry's "proven" best protective glass and surface coatings within the commercial glass industry, the team at Unelko is pleased with the new partnership.

"Bear Glass works with the highest quality and most innovative glass technologies within their broad spectrum of glass, and they selected one of our products to use in their Invisible Shield MICROBURST™ 2000 Glass Coating Machine," Ohlhausen said, adding that Bear Glass will utilize Unelko's Invisible Shield PRO15 in the new glass coating machine.



"Bear Glass is using their new Invisible Shield MICROBURST™ 2000 Glass Coating Machine to ensure the very best quality and most efficient application of the Invisible Shield PRO15 to treat large volumes of glass," Ohlhausen said.



The MICROBURST 2000 can treat all types of glass in any length, utilizing unique UV and IR curing technology for ultra-durability. The machine can treat up to 18 million square feet of glass annually and represents the most significant advancement in green conscious glass coating technology. The Microburst machine has been placed at Bear Glass in their New Jersey plant.

Invisible Shield PRO 15 Glass Protection and REPEL will preserve all glass with an easy-clean process that leaves glass in a "like new" condition, Ohlhausen said.

The Microburst 2000 will debut internationally at Glasstec 2018 in Dusseldorf. It will be the first horizontal glass coating machine that utilizes IR and UV technology for an ultra-durable bond not requiring cleaning or polishing post treatment and its capable of treating 12 million square feet of glass per year.
