Tvitec wins Isolar Award for the great glass dome at the Italian Pavilion Expo Milano 2015

Isolar, the german association of European glass manufacturers independent, has awarded to the Tvitec Spanish company for his work glazing of the great dome that crowns the Italian Pavillion at Expo 2015.

Isolar gave to Tvitec the prize for the best work in the category of Representative Projects 2015 during the recent convention held by the partners in Hamburg. Representatives of the International commercial area of the Spanish transformative, Isaac Prado Lopez and Alberto Gómez, collected the award and explain the details of the processing of all glass, which bears the label "Made in Spain".Tvitec provided for the Palace of Italy in Milan Expo almost 3,000 meters of architectural glass and high performance.It employed laminates and double glazing with extra-clear  and Low-e glass to contribute the ultimate goal of achieving an energy efficient construction beyond its exceptional aesthetic.



The award is extended to the italian study architecture, Nemesi & Partners, and the Sthalbau Pichler metal framer, who handled the development and installation of great glass and steel dome, which rises 35 meters above the ground and weights over 350 tons.
