Glasstech Mexico is the perfect platform where the glass, door and window industries communicate and meet with suppliers from all over the world and Latin American buyers.
For the first time TUROMAS; with the representation of Álvaro Tomas, vice-president and Eduardo Nieto, commercial delegate in Chile; has bet big, counting 130 square meters of its own space, only destined to its machinery, consolidating its bet for the Mexican market and consequently for the LATAM market.
RUBI 513 VAC-6
The Spanish company exhibited the RUBI 513 VAC-6, a machine aimed at companies that require maximum productivity, automation, efficiency and precision.
The differential value of this model is its capacity to load, cut and evacuate the sheets of glass autonomously from the table itself. In optimal operating conditions, this equipment can process up to 1 sheet of 3210 mm every 35 seconds, which is equivalent to about 785 m2 of glass per hour. It also offers the possibility of extending the useful cut to 6100 x 3300 mm.
It is designed to work on an automatic cutting line and its linear motor technology offers unprecedented performance and quality in any operation such as cutting, Low-E or TPF pickling and part labelling.
It consists of a head with four individual, automatically selectable cutting tools, each with its own cutting roller, independent lubrication system and pressure cylinder specifically sized for its cutting range from as little as 0.55 mm to 25 mm. The high cutting quality obtained with this system minimises further processing of the glass, reduces costs and eliminates production time.
In addition to the equipment on display, visitors who came to the event had the opportunity to learn more about the complete range of standardised machinery for monolithic glass, laminated glass or smart storage, as well as the customised solutions that TUROMAS offers.
A safe bet
Glasstech Mexico ended on a very positive note for Turomas. The fair has been responsible for bringing Mexican customers and suppliers back to the market and the TUROMAS stand was key to this reunion. Relationships were strengthened with current customers and contact was established with potential customers interested in exploring the possibilities of the Spanish brand.
