The company can therefore meet rising demand and guarantee enhanced product packaging at a new production unit specifically designed to cater to Fenzi’s needs and now up and running at the group’s plant in Tribiano, where its headquarters are based.
The high level of automation that has been obtained gives an extraordinarily consistent quality to Butylver TPS and its packaging. Due to its chemical properties, the product has a very high flow threshold, tending to maintain its original shape even when subjected to strong stress. This feature therefore makes it particularly difficult to fill large drums perfectly. The new unit eliminates all operator actions by means of a completely automated drum-filling process. The final result is an absolutely compact material, without any air pockets and a perfectly flat surface when the drum is opened. This, of course, makes for more efficient IG manufacture and a high quality end product.
Designed for Butylver TPS, the new drum filling unit is now used for all Fenzi butyl sealants. As always, any developments in the production process of a single product are applied to the entire product range, for overall improved performance and increased customer satisfaction.
