Date: 24 August 2012

Moor House is a large office building in the City of London. It is located on the Northern edge of the financial district and is one of the largest buildings in the area, standing 84 metres (276 ft) tall and with 29,000 square metres of floorspace.

Completed in 2004, it was the first building to be designed for the forthcoming London Crossrail, with a shaft to the station underneath the building. It has the deepest foundations in London, which reach down 57 metres (187 ft) and are specifically designed to withstand further tunneling below it in the future. The building cost £182 million to construct and was designed by Sir Norman Foster.

Pictet Bank London Headquaters is located at Moor House.

Since the early 19th century, Pictet & Cie has been a mainstay of Geneva’s financial sector and its history is closely linked to that of the city.  Pictet celebrated its bicentennial in 2005 after surviving and prospering during two centuries of political upheavals and financial crises.

Ending 2009, Pictet employed more than 3,000 people worldwide and had approximately 388 billion Swiss francs in assets under management and administration. The Bank is pursuing its international expansion and currently has 20 offices in some of the most important financial centres throughout the world.

LC SmartGlass was installed at Pictet Bank in London City to section off meeting rooms and to create subdivisions of office space. The use of switchable privacy glass allows for instant privacy on demand when meetings are taking place without compromising the levels of light entering the space to maintain a bright spacious interior within.
