Adding momentum to the building sector with its innovative products, Şişecam Flat Glass has held the third "T Meetings" on 10 May 2017, Wednesday at İş Sanat Cultural Center under the slogan of “Transparent Face of Architecture”.

Organized by Şişecam Flat Glass, the leader of Turkish flat glass market and Europe's biggest producer, in cooperation with Arkitera Architecture Center, the event hosted Dan Stubbergaard, the founder and creative director of COBE, this year. The conference attended by architects, designers and sector professionals brought together the leading names in the world of architecture and construction. During his presentation titled "Our Urban Living Room" prepared specifically for T Meetings, Dan Stubbergaard shared his architectural perspective and experience related to the recent projects of COBE.

At the event attended by 1000 architects and architecture students, Dan Stubbergaard expressed his pleasure in the attention shown to the event. As a designer of many award-winning projects and a well-known figure in the field of design and architecture, Dan Stubbergaard talked about how people's and communities' problems can be solved by architecture. Highlighting that fast urbanization changes life styles, Dan Stubbbergaard said: "Istanbul is the best example of growing urban transformation. Each city has to offer its own solutions. To ensure that your city is a well-planned one, you must be able to use it as an extension of your living room."

Noting that the world population will exceed 10 billion by 2030, Dan Stubbergaard commented: "The increasing urban population results in architectural democratization. The part architects and designers have to play will increase even further. As architects and urban planners, we believe that the demands of our target communities need to be fulfilled in consultation with them. This is what we are trying to do with every project."

In his presentation titled "Our Urban Living Room", Dan Stubbergaard noted that there are various difficulties and complex problems faced by cities and that design was the essential tool to overcome these challenges, and shared some examples from his projects with the participants.

In addition to his works in the field of architecture, Dan teaches architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and holds seminars about COBE's current projects at international conferences.
