Sisecam Flat Glass is celebrating World Architecture Week with world-famous architects it hosts in 'T Meetings' event it has been organizing for two years.

Having hosted Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto last year within the scope of T Meetings, Sisecam Flat Glass united famous Dutch architect Winy Maas, founder of MVRDV, with building sector professionals and architecture students this year.

Sisecam Flat Glass, Europe's 2nd and the world's 5th largest flat glass manufacturer is celebrating World Architecture Week with world-famous architects it hosts in 'T Meetings' event it has been organizing for two years. Having hosted Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto last year within the scope of T Meetings held in Istanbul, Sisecam Flat Glass united Dutch architect Winy Maas with building sector professionals and architecture students this year. Winy Maas' presentation "What's Next?" attracted great attention of the audience.



Every year, over one thousand architects and architecture students follow T Meetings, which has been bringing together leading names of building and architecture sector for two years. Expressing her appreciation of the intense attention attracted to the event, Sisecam Flat Glass Marketing Group Manager Ebru Sapoglu celebrated World Architecture Week of architects, who shape our living spaces and give soul to cities, in her speech in T Meetings.

In his presentation titled "What's Next?", architect Winy Maas, this year's speaker of T Meetings, expressed that he is very happy to design and develop living spaces. Maas, who stated he predominantly uses glass in his works, said the following, emphasizing that future buildings should be transparent and breathe: "We should find a solution to the problem by speculating over the future. Criticism in architecture takes an important place. Constructive criticism adds dynamism to architecture."

The famous architect, who has put his signature under successful works, not only in architecture but also in different fields of designing -- such as landscaping, urban planning -- is the shareholder of MVRDV architecture office. Rotterdam -- Market Hall, Paris -- PushedSlab, Schijndell -- Glass Farm, Bordeaux -- Master Plan for BastideNiel and SuffolkBalancingBarn are among recent outstanding projects of the office, led by Maas.--- In the first session of T Meetings organized to celebrate World Architecture Week, Sisecam Flat Glass hosted Sou Fujimoto, considered one of the leading names of contemporary architecture. Fujimoto, who was deemed worthy of 'Innovator Award of the Year' by the Wall Street Journal, made a presentation titled Between Nature and Architecture' in front of almost one thousand participants.
