Date: 24 August 2015

If you’re looking for packaging design inspiration or want to see first-hand how embossing can make a glass bottle or jar really stand out, you should visit the Beatson Clark stand at Pro2Pac in March.

The leading glass manufacturer will be exhibiting at the UK's only packaging event designed exclusively for the food & drink sector from 22nd to 25th March 2015.For two days designer Robert Ledgard will be demonstrating techniques in sculpting embossing and answering questions from visitors to the stand on how the high-tech software works.Beatson Clark recently invested in an upgrade of its CAD (computer-aided design) system to the latest 3D visualisation software and increased the size of its in-house design team.“Our design team can provide customers with 3D visualisations of what the end product will actually look like,” said Lynn Sidebottom, Sales and Marketing Director at Beatson Clark.“The visual can be turned 360° on the screen, allowing customers to see the size, shape, colour and embossing in detail, which is much better than using the traditional outline drawing.“We have built up our in-house expertise with designers like Rob who are skilled at sculpting embossing, making it more defined as well as easier to manufacture.”Beatson Clark can be found at stand number S2639 at Pro2Pac, which takes place from Sunday 22nd to Wednesday 25th March at ExCel London.Robert Ledgard will be on the stand on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th March.Pro2Pac is co-located with IFE, the international food and drink event.More information can be found at www.pro2pac.co.uk.
