The international exhibition scene is a hive of activity. Windows, Doors & Façades at the Dubai World Trade Centre is opening its doors for the first time from 18 to 20 September 2016.  The new building industry trade fair is being supported by Schüco International KG as a founding partner.

The construction sector in the Middle East is booming: the steady growth rate of the markets for windows and doors was approximately 4.4% annually between 2010 and 2015. At the same time, the demand for aesthetic, innovative and sustainable window, door and façade units in the Gulf States is growing.

As a reaction to the high level of interest generated by The Big 5 in Dubai – the largest construction trade fair in the Arab world – the hosts, dmg::events, are presenting “Windows, Doors & Façades” (WDF) as a stand-alone exhibition this year. The event will centre around pioneering solutions for everything to do with doors and gates, glass fronts, façades, solar shading, locks, fittings, machinery and raw materials, with a focus on environmental and energy ratings, climate change and security requirements.

As a cooperating partner, Schüco will present in Dubai its latest product innovations made from aluminium as well as system solutions which have been specifically adapted to meet the needs of the local market. Across a stand area of over 180 m2, interested visitors will find façade constructions with the most slimline face widths of 35 mm and sliding systems which are suitable for use indoors and in warm climate zones. The range of products being showcased is rounded off by modern window systems and multifunctional entrance doors with additional functions integrated into the profiles, such as access control and door communication.
