SCHOTT AG Appoints New Members of the Board of Management

The Supervisory Board of SCHOTT AG has decided to appoint Hermann Ditz, Head of the Electronic Packaging Business Unit, and Dr.

Heinz Kaiser, Head of the Home Tech Business Unit, to the Board of Management of SCHOTT AG with effect from January 1, 2016.  



“By expanding the Board of Management chaired by Dr. Frank Heinricht, we have set the course for further growth initiatives,” said Dr. Dieter Kurz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.



Dr. Hans-Joachim Konz, who has been a member of the Board of Management of SCHOTT AG since 2008, will be leaving the company at the end of calendar year 2015. On the Board of Management, he is currently responsible for the Business Units Flat Glass, Home Tech, Lighting and Imaging as well as Research and Development and Technical Services.



“We would like to thank Dr. Konz for his many years of valuable and extremely loyal service for the good of SCHOTT AG and wish him good health and all the best for the future,” Dr. Kurz emphasized.
