Pilkington United Kingdom Limited Supports Launch Of IGU Manufacturing Facility

Pilkington United Kingdom Limited has worked closely with Nationwide Windows, the public sector and new build door and window supplier, to support the launch of its new manufacturing facility in Rugby.

The 36,000 sq ft facility, which will produce insulated glass units (IGUs), enables Nationwide Windows to further develop its entire production process by incorporating IGU manufacture into the supply chain.Pilkington United Kingdom Limited first partnered with Nationwide Windows in 1999 and has since developed a long and valued relationship.The company now supplies a range of multi-functional glazing solutions, from energy-efficient and noise-control glass to fire-safety glass for doors, ensuring Nationwide Windows is able to offer its customers a variety of high performance product solutions.



Andy McDowell, commercial director at Pilkington United Kingdom Limited, said: “We have worked with Nationwide Windows for the past 16 years and it’s fantastic to see their new venture come to fruition. The success of the launch is down to a great deal of hard work and determination from the team and we’re looking forward to continuing our work with them over the coming months.”
