Developed by the same company as the Burj Khalifa, the Fountain Views Towers are scheduled to be completed in 2017.

XSPlatforms is proud to announce that the FacadeXS solution for two of the three towers is soon to be delivered to the heart of Downtown Dubai.  Overlooking both the world’s tallest building and the world’s largest fountain, the towers will house 788 apartments of different types, as well as 194 hotel rooms. The complex will be directly linked to the Dubai Mall.

Our solution

XSPlatforms will deliver four telescopic roof cars that will be installed on the very top of the two outside towers. The two BMUs on each of these towers will each cover one side of the facade.

The roof cars will suspend standard gondolas up to 230 meters (755 feet) down the facades of the towers. To provide maximum safety at such great heights, the gondolas are equipped with a soft rope system to restrain them to the facade.

For more detailed information about gondola restraint systems: download the information sheet.

All four roof cars are equipped with a Glass Replacement Unit (GRU), to make glass replacement work at great heights easier.
