NSG Group announced today that it has received a “GOLD” rating for the first time from EcoVadis*, a global organization for evaluating CSR (corporate social responsibility) performance.

The CSR evaluation criteria by EcoVadis, including environment, labor practices and human rights, fair business practice and sustainable procurement, has also been in use by corporations for weighing sustainability of their business partners. EcoVadis is currently engaged in the evaluation supply chains in 150 industries across 110 countries.

NSG’s rating, which placed the company among the top seven percent of glass industry, is based on a number of policy actions and improvements under 21 evaluation criteria.

NSG will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibilities by enhancing sustainability initiatives including ESG (Environment, Social and Corporate Governance) and SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals: Global goals indicated in “the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” adopted in 2015 UN Summit) under the Group Sustainability Policy**.
