New crusher is sheer glass for Yorwaste firm

Yorkshire company Yorwaste is hailing the success of a trial aimed at diverting more waste from landfill and conserving valuable natural resources.

Over the past few weeks, the company has been using a specialist aggregate crusher to crush glass at its Resource Recovery Centre in Seamer Carr, Scarborough.Around 5,000 tonnes of glass has been crushed, producing a recycled alternative to virgin quarried sand.Read more: http://www.thescarboroughnews.co.uk/news/local/new-crusher-is-sheer-glass-for-yorwaste-firm-1-7553926#ixzz3r5DJXbCY
