Koemmerling Chemische Fabrik to show its latest developments in Direct Glazing, Warm-Edge-Systems and Structural Glazing at Fensterbau, 2 -5 April, 2008

Date: 13 February 2008

Koemmerling Chemische Fabrik, a leading manufacturer and supplier of sealants and adhesives for window fabrication, will be showing its newly extended range of adhesives and sealants on Stand 123, Hall 7 at this year's Fensterbau exhibition.

This range includes innovative products for bonding of sealed glass units into the sash of windows (Direct Glazing), insulating glass sealants and silicones for structural glazing. The international show is taking place in Nuremberg, Germany from April 2-5, 2008.

Dr. Knut Goeke, product manager for Koemmerling said: "This is a key show for the international window industry and an opportunity for both existing and potential customers to learn more about the recent additions to our product range. Koediglaze S and P have been specially developed for bonding sealed glass units into the window sash, and are opening up new construction and design opportunities for the window manufacturers and system developers. For triple glazing we have Koemmerling TPS, which meets the requirements of the most challenging architectural structures and continues to build on the benefits of the warm edge approach to sealed glass unit manufacture. This was developed in response to market demand for products that meet the stringent demands of the burgeoning environmental market." Koemmerling will also present its new structural glazing silicone at the exhibition.

Thanks to a comprehensive overall concept, Koemmerling is the only manufacturer that can offer edge sealants and adhesive technologies from a single source. This gives the end user the knowledge that all the products used are guaranteed to be completely compatible with each other, which can prolong the lifetime of the window. In addition Koemmerling has many other adhesives for use in window manufacture, including 2-part polyurethanes for bonding aluminium corner keys, 1-part polyurethanes for window connection joints or solvent welding systems for a reliable bonding of all types of u-PVC parts. Representatives from the company's product development and customer support teams will be on hand to discuss any technical problem and offer advice.
