A lack of opacity in light colours to cover printed glass surfaces has always been a limitation in all printing technologies, from traditional screen printing through roller printing to the new generation of digital glass printing. It is an accepted constraint in the industry.
A recent challenge for ink manufacturers has been to achieve higher coverage in colours such as blue or white. The goal is to ensure the highest opacity in lighter colours while maintaining the highest printing speed.
Tecglass proudly present the new series JETVER DUO which overcomes this long-standing obstacle, providing our customers with a new ink that is going to be a huge competitive advantage in projects where opacity is important.
Architects and developers always struggled to cope with the silicone problem on digitally printed splashback glass in bright colours. The JETVER DUO series by Tecglass can conceal these visible silicone effects for full compliance with industry requirements. The new series is ready to use in the printers developed by Tecglass without any additional setup.
The use of glass is rapidly becoming fashionable in kitchen splashbacks or feature walls in bathrooms or living rooms, where it can create a stylish space with a customised design. With the new JETVER DUO inks Tecglass ensures that there are no limits to the creativity of our customers.
JETVER DUO technology is available now for Jetver Base or Jetver Ultra basic colours.
