Façade glazed units and laminated single glass (with Venceva colour system) manufactured in our plants were used for this project.
The complex consists of two buildings – they will comprise as many as 38 specialist laboratories for broadly defined research and development operations. The new centre is to allow for conducting multi-directional research on energy. At the same time, this is the most advanced and the largest in Poland research complex related to energy.
The buildings are of simple shapes – vertical divisions of the façades have been marked distinctly. Some interesting variety are yellow elements and a translucent pavilion located on the roof. The people responsible for the appearance and design of the AGH Center of Energy are Ewa Kozioł-Taracha and Sebastian Chwedeczko, architects of Biuro Rozwoju Krakowa (Krakow Development Office).
Official launching of the new complex is planned in autumn 2015.
