Improved year round living from TuffX

Date: 16 June 2015

Thermal control with year round use were the priorities for this Ambience conservatory roof glass installation completed by Coral Windows in Bradford.

In this project the Ambi-Blue option was the preferred choice for the homeowner, due to the location of the property. Having a South facing garden the new-build extension required one of the highest performance roof glasses from the range, which provides 60% solar heat reflection, 47% light transmission and an impressive U-Value of 1.2. With a true self-cleaning coating it Ambi-Blue remains one of the most popular glass options.

For installers the subtle blue tint offers many advantages including a 53% reduction from the sun's glare that helps to provide year round living whilst also protecting furniture and fabrics from fading.

The homeowners were delighted with their new conservatory extension which has helped to add value and useable living space to their home.
