Live-broadcasting from the glass production plant Winterglas in Austria
Nearly 50,000 visitors from 52 different countries came to Düsseldorf and were able to see Lisec’s full range of innovations in the areas of glass cutting/sorting, software, insulating glass production, processing of flat glass, laminated glass production, tempering technology and solar module manufacturing. Apart from the impressive machine layout Lisec showed also many examples of using tempered thin glass processed with the Lisec flat-bed tempering line, starting from cold bent glass for parabolic mirrors, glass-glass photovoltaic modules, up to new application areas in architecture, thanks to triple insulating glass units with the low weight of double units.

Another speciality was the live broadcast from the Lisec’s Winterglas glass processing plant, which enabled visitors to virtually ‘enter’ the running production and watch working processes in detail live on a huge 103” plasma monitor.
“Our booth and new corporate design was a real magnet for customers and visitors,” commented Karl Gruber, the company’s new chief executive officer, who was very satisfied with the fair trade. “However, what is even more important is that we could convince with our broad spectrum of products and innovatiaons and despite the worldwide tense economical situation we could unexpectedly achieve lots of orders.” Meeting point for the international expert audience: the LiSEC booth The LiSEC booth personnel explained the innovations to the numerous visitors.
