Glass-tempering business opens in J-town

A new glass tempering business is opening in Jeffersontown that will create 30 jobs at the outset, with 120 more jobs expected in five to 10 years, Gov.

Steve Beshear and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer jointly announced Thursday.   

Two Kentucky entrepreneurs are launching their 310 Tempering startup company, with about $6 million invested in the venture.

“In celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit of the commonwealth, we congratulate 310 Tempering,” Beshear said.
