General Glass International (GGI) today announced the addition of three new products to its already-extensive GGI Satin line of etched glass.
Illusion Lines glass presents a double-sided pattern that is precisely applied to both sides of the glass, creating a permanent scratch- and fingerprint-resistant design.
Like other single- and double-sided patterns in the GGI Satin line, Illusion Lines is ideal for a wide range of interior applications such as walls and office partitions, room dividers, table tops, doors and door insets, staircase and balcony railings and shower enclosures.
The interplay of the double-sided pattern and the thickness of the glass creates a sense of depth. Illusion Lines is stocked in ½” low iron.
Crystal Light is highly translucent and scratch-resistant, and it emits very low glare, making it ideal for marker boards, as well as all the other typical applications noted above. Crystal Light is stocked in ¼” and ½” low iron.
Satin Mirror creates a soft reflection, with a surface that is mirror-bright yet produces the diffusion effect of a satin finish. Satin Mirror is stocked in ¼” low iron.
“With the addition of these new products to our GGI Satin line, we now offer an even wider range of satin etched glass to suit the broadest array of applications,” said Richard Balik, Executive Vice President, at GGI.
“Our many decades of experience in the glass industry and worldwide relationships with suppliers give GGI a distinct advantage when it comes to sourcing innovative products.”
Extensive stock keeps lead times short
Illusion Lines, Crystal Light, Satin Mirror and our other wide range of Satin Etch products are stocked by GGI in various thicknesses, enabling short lead times for fabrication and case delivery. Other standard and custom satin etched products and patterns are also available by special order.
