On new builds / refits, electrical contractors are now refusing to switch on circuits that have non CE Certified products. While insurance companies are starting to refuse paying out for fire claims if it is proven that the start of the fire was a non CE Certified product.
It can be confusing to some, as if a product displays a CE stamp is it not a guarantee the product is certified. A stamp using the exact same font as the CE Certified logo - only with different spacing stands for Chinese export, meaning it is a non tested and possibly dangerous product. The only way to be sure a product holds CE Certification is to see the test certificates
ESG HD-1 and ESG 4K switchable glass controllers hold full CE Certification from a UK based test house. The certificates are easily downloaded from the technical section of our website. So our customers have access to them if need be on site during installation or an architect needs them during the specification stage.
