Long considered best in class by industry professionals, Vitrum (whose 21st edition took place in October) is held every other year in Milan, where the spotlights are focused on the latest innovations in the international glass industry.
Throughout the four days of the show, companies and international buyers flocked to the Fenzi stand, one of the exhibition’s leading participants since the very beginning.
Fenzi – the leading Group in chemicals for secondary glass processing – showcased the most recent innovations in all of its business units, including the app that offers an immersive virtual-reality experience of the world of decorated glass; the most state-of-the-art warm-edge technologies; cutting-edge digital printing tools; mirror-backing paints with the highest performance ratings in the marketplace and decorative paints for all types of applications.
In fact, it was the Milan-based event that sealed the deal bringing the Thermix® brand under the Group’s umbrella, thus enhancing the Glass Alliance product range for the manufacture of all kinds of insulating glass. Glass Alliance is the international network formed by Fenzi, Alu Pro and Rolltech.
“Thermix® TX Pro officially becomes part of the Alu Pro product range for high-performance insulating glass, further expanding the portfolio of Glass Alliance warm-edge technologies currently available in the marketplace – states Alessandro Fenzi, the Group’s CEO – The excitement expressed at the show over this news shows we are strategically on the right path, focusing our efforts on a specific market and offering diversified, targeted products. We are able to deliver a unique line of products with different characteristics and materials that combine ultra-high performance with extreme practicality of use”.
Fenzi sealants for primary and secondary glass sealing are engineered to work seamlessly with the latest generation warm-edge spacers. Fenzi sealants meet the most advanced criteria for eco-compatibility. They offer excellent performance in terms of thermal insulation, exhibit superior mechanical properties and extremely low permeability to water and gas. Precisely for this reason, this business unit is a consistent favorite with the international glass industry.
Alongside the most innovative technologies for insulating glass, the entire range of Tempver decorative paints, extremely popular and used in the most innovative applications – from architecture to interior design, automotive glass to household appliances and from glass packaging to consumer electronics – was also featured at Vitrum.
Alongside them were the Duralux 2020 mirror-backing paints, an extremely versatile and eco-friendly line of protective paints, with exceptional performance in terms of durability and resistance to corrosion.
The spotlight at the show as also focused on the Tecglass products for digital printing on glass. Live print demonstrations with two innovative printing machines – the Single Pass Evolution and F C Series – showcased the potential of these machines in terms of resolution, quality and speed.
The Tecglass VR Experience was the source of great public acclaim, thanks to a new app developed to visualize and explore new design solutions in different home environments through virtual reality. The app allowed visitors a new way to experience the Tecglass Vitro Design Catalog and find the inspiration they need for any design project.
A gallery of glass products demonstrated the many real-life applications of Tecglass machine-printed glass and the new collections of creative textures developed by Tecglass designers for the world of interior decor and architecture.
