FAKRO top products at Střechy Praha 2018

The company's stand hosted a number of visitors between 8-10 February. Innovative solutions such as the range of flat roof windows, including the walkable DXW window and a new preSelect2 top hung and pivot window with the sash opened to 45° attracted a significant interest.

Střechy Praha trade fair is the largest and most exceptional industry event organized in Czech Republic, involving the most important manufacturers and suppliers. This year's fair was visited by over 21 thousand visitors and attended by 165 companies.

The FAKRO stand caught an eye of the visitors with modern and multi-coloured design of the type F flat roof window in theColourLine version (more than 200 colours to choose from the RAL Classic palette). The innovative design of electrically operated DEF window has been given prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2016.

In addition, visitors of the stand could walk across the window which with its unique design and a special non-slip coating ensures complete safety. It is worth mentioning that the DXW flat roof window has been recognized by eminent German architects with the Architects' Darling Award 2017.

Moreover, in accordance with current architectural trends featuring large glazed areas, FAKRO presented the combination of the FGH-V Galeria balcony window with the FDY-V Duet proSky double-sash window. The glazing effect was extraordinary.

Naturally, the FAKRO stand demonstrated energy-efficient solutions. The company showed products intended for passive construction such as the FTT U8 Thermo roof window and the LWT Passive House loft ladder.

FAKRO also presented a wide range of external and internal accessories designed both for roof and flat roof windows.

The VMZ Solar CleanAir filter awning blind designed for vertical windows made its debut on the Czech market. This product is equipped with RESPILON AIR® membrane which is made of layers of nanofibers to create a dense and durable mesh. Such structure effectively stops pollution caused by smog, limiting its concentration inside the room.
