“The three vertical sliding sash products: Authentic, Heritage and Vintage, each offer unique design benefits for the trade, specifiers and developers,” explains Carol Slade, Managing Director at Masterframe. “Every product is available with Timberweld® corner design and white wood foil as standard to give a true timber look for any home.”
With the exclusive sash window license to use Timberweld technology, Masterframe’s range offers a great opportunity for installers. The unique Masterframe profile is combined with a high-strength welded joint for a perfect butt-joint effect both inside and outside the window. This creates the traditional look of a timber window for both refurbishment and new build installations.
“The trend for replicating timber and preserving that authentic finish in homes is a growing market,” continues Carol. “And our new collections have been designed to make it easier for installers, specifiers, architects and developers to choose the perfect window for their projects.”
All ranges have a different range of standard features and options such as: -
The Authentic Collection has a coupled frame, deep 105mm bottom rail, continuous horns and external putty line sashes with Timberweld corner design as standard.
The Heritage Collection has all this, plus PAS24/SBD certification, bespoke furniture in a range of finishes and the unique London sash and frame option.
The premium Vintage Collection comes with the additional benefit of a slim, integral mullion on multi-light windows and a 55mm deep GRP cill as standard for rigidity. The full house of authentic features offered on the Vintage Collection makes it the ideal choice for conservation areas.
The whole collection also offers a 10-year guarantee, sprayed colour match options and arched or shaped heads.
Carol adds: “The exclusive profile system that we’ve developed for the new collections offers beautifully engineered, high-performance windows for homeowners, ideal for retrofit projects and new residential developments.”
