Effective sun protection with very low external reflection

Date: 29 February 2016

With SGG COOL-LITE XTREME 70/33, II Saint-Gobain Glass is expanding its range of highly selective solar control glass to another, annealed variant.

With a selectivity of 2.12 and a U-value of 1.0 W / m², the glass combines high light transmission values with optimal thermal insulation properties.

The literally “most obvious” innovation of triple-silver-coated SGG COOL-LITE XTREME 70/33 II solar control glass, is the low external reflection of 11% combined with a colour-neutral external coating.

Depending on the architectural design, the building physics and the technical building systems, can thus be dispensed with pollution-prone and maintenance-intensive Stems as blinds, vertical or blinds.

Thus, the glasses of the SGG COOL-LITE XTREME family are also suitable for the restoration of listed buildings.
