Saint-Gobain Glass showcases pioneering sustainable solutions through three themed areas: “DECARBONISATION & CIRCULARITY”, “PERFORMANT SOLUTIONS”, and “EASY TO USE”.

In this new edition of glasstec, Saint-Gobain Glass will proudly showcase a diverse portfolio of high-performance products and services for facades, windows and interior applications, also featuring cutting-edge solutions from SageGlass, Vetrotech and Logli Saint-Gobain.

DECARBONISATION & CIRCULARITY

Join us in closing the loop! The first of three areas on the stand is dedicated to “Decarbonisation and Circularity” which are central to the development of Saint-Gobain Glass products. Saint-Gobain Glass was the first manufacturer to introduce a low-carbon glass offer on the market, ORAÉ®, featuring high recycled content. It is now time to celebrate ORAÉ® success after 2 years through our numerous projects involving more than 60 processors in Europe, the recent launch in India, our many circular initiatives and our partnerships across countries.

On top of that, it reflects our long lasting sustainability practices and industrial achievements in our plants, including the continuous reduction of raw material consumption, waste generation and ultimately CO₂ emissions. The pioneering role of Saint-Gobain Glass and its commitment to the circular economy are directly integrated into the architecture of the exhibition stand. Step by step and backed up by robust figures.

Visitors will also have the chance to discover our COOL-LITE® XTREME 61/29 ORAÉ® low-carbon glass which is Cradle to Cradle® Certified V4.0 at Bronze level and has verified EPDs for multiple configurations. This impressive large curved piece of glass demonstrates that Saint-Gobain Glass’ heat-treatable coatings can be easily processed also when combined with the ORAÉ® substrate.

We will also exhibit our latest innovation in laminated glass, demonstrating how to reduce embodied carbon of glazing through thin glass, while maintaining high standard of safety requirements: the new STADIP® PROTECT 22.2 PLUS offering the same protection against injury and vandalism (1B1/P2A) as standard laminated 44.2 glass.

PERFORMANT SOLUTIONS

New developments will be presented in the “Performant Solutions” stand area as Saint-Gobain Glass keeps innovating to bring customers the most performant solutions of the market.

Several new products from the COOL-LITE® solar control range will be exposed, exhibiting the latest achievements in terms of neutral aesthetic and high-performance combinations:

  • The recently launched COOL-LITE® SKN 175, the first of our SKN family to reach a selectivity of 2.0, offering a light transmission of 70% for only half of solar heat going through the glazing, showcased with Swisspacer performant warm-edge spacer bars.

  • For the first time: our new COOL-LITE® SKN 155, to be launched in 2025 will be revealed, introducing a new standard of neutral aesthetic, from both outside and inside, together with a greater comfort thanks to an excellent selectivity.

  • One blockbuster of this range, COOL-LITE® XTREME 70/33 will be shown together with an interior solar shading fabric as part of a cooperation between Saint-Gobain Glass and the global shading specialist Kvadrat Shade, illustrating that high-performance solar control glazing and interior shading can perfectly match to reach very low g-value, as well as visual comfort and aesthetic appeal.

With CONTRAFLAM® One, Vetrotech introduces an innovative fire protection solution. This product features toughened safety glass and Hybridcore™ technology, a “single-chamber” foaming technology in the intermediate layer. This innovation stands out for its exceptional light transmission, reduced thickness and weight, and an expanded operating temperature range. Additionally, it contributes significantly to CO₂ reduction.

Now, CONTRAFLAM® One is also available with low-carbon glass ORAÉ®, perfect for all projects!

Logli Saint-Gobain will present the DEFENDER 810 series, a unique balustrade profile system engineered to accommodate both 8+8 and 10+10 mm thick glass. An innovation that allows to address both residential and public requirements with the same product. Discover this perfect blend of performance and durability, now available with low-carbon glass ORAÉ® on the booth. And to know more about the DEFENDER range, visitors can visit the Logli Saint-Gobain flagship space in hall 10, stand G56.

EASY TO USE

In the “Easy to use” area, Saint-Gobain Glass will show how we make customer experience simpler and more convenient by presenting products that stand for convenience, safety and sustainability and ensure easy-to-use processing.

For window application, visitors will discover the new simplified 2-products offer under ECLAZ® recognized brand to support current challenges of the German residential market with comfort and daylight understandable benefits. A winter comfort product, ECLAZ®, allowing up to 36% energy saving at house level in renovation scheme. A new summer comfort product, dividing by 2 the indoor overheating duration in rooms equipped with large sunny windows.

2 products easier to process will be presented:

  • MIRALITE® EASYSAFE revolutionizes the anti-shatter mirror market. If broken, 98% of the glass shards are contained due to the anti-shatter resin applied at mirror production. Furthermore, high-quality processing is simplified, even for holes and intricate shapes. With MIRALITE® EASYSAFE, time, waste, and labor costs are significantly lower than those associated with traditional safety-backed mirrors.

  • EASYPRO®, Saint-Gobain Glass temporary surface protection for to-be-tempered coated glass which is now optimized for an even easier and sustainable processing with the same performance and service to our customers. Applied to coated glass, it protects the coating from mechanical damage and ageing until toughening. As the coating burns off during tempering, no waste is produced.

SageGlass Harmony® is the most advanced smart glass on the market, delivering an elegant, seamless solution for solar control. This innovative electrochromic glass adjusts its tint automatically in response to weather conditions, offering precise light management through its distinctive gradient tinting. With SageGlass Harmony®, there's no need for blind, it effectively reduces glare and heat while enhancing occupant comfort and significantly improving energy efficiency.

DIGITAL SERVICES

A digital corner will also be featured, showcasing our digital services: the glass calculator Calumen® and our virtual rendering tool GlassPro with an amazing 360° preview version. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore these tools, participate in demonstrations, and experience firsthand how they can be used to enhance project planning and execution.
