CRL-U.S. Aluminum Director of Instructional Media Terry Green Earns InstallationMasters™ Certification

Date: 28 October 2015

Certification Validates Proficiency in Fenestration Installation Best Practices - Terry Green, Director of Instructional Media at CRL-U.S.

Aluminum, has received InstallationMasters™ certification from the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA).  With Terry’s certification, CRL-U.S. Aluminum aims to provide enhanced service and support to its customers.

InstallationMasters™ is a nationwide training and certification program for installers of window and glass door products. The program was specifically designed to help installers avoid costly callbacks, optimize energy efficiency, increase installation quality, and maximize product benefits for the customer. Certification means candidates become part of a select group that has passed an examination demonstrating their knowledge of fenestration installation best practices.

“Clear and precise instructions are an essential component of any installer-friendly system and, as such, are part and parcel of the full service approach glaziers expect from the C.R. Laurence brand,” said Lloyd Talbert, President of CRL. “The end goal is to provide safe, accurate, and expedited product installations, and InstallationMasters™ certification helps us achieve that.”

A key division of CRL-U.S. Aluminum is its Instructional Media Department. The department’s primary focus is to educate and update customers in the installation, operation, and maintenance of CRL products using print and digital media. One of the principal tools the division produces for customers are product installation instructions. As a newly certified AAMA InstallationMaster™, Terry hopes to apply his expertise to further strengthen the program.

“We’ve really ramped up our installation instruction program this year to provide better customer guidance and support. Being InstallationMaster™ certified shows our commitment to continually refining our instructional media in order to provide the best product experience,” said Terry Green.
