Products, such as A+W IoT and A+W iShape (to some extent the 'landmark' of the A+W booth), were in great demand as was the new smartphone-based barcode solution A+W Smart Companion, which visitors got a 'Sneak Preview’ of at glasstec.
Many glass processors and insulating glass producers wanted to know how increasing digitalization can give them concrete, competitive advantages in their day-to-day business. For these advantages, glass processors and producers turned to A+W!
The increasing networking of A+W soft-ware and machine technology, the well-organized transfer of knowledge, and the short distances to our technology partners in the VDMA space enable A+W to provide our customers with the best solutions in the market.
There was also a great deal of interest in well-known, proven A+W products, esp. A+W Business Pro and the suite of A+W Business and A+W Production.
More than 42,000 visitors from over 120 countries came to glasstec in Düsseldorf over four days, October 23-26, to see for themselves the industry’s innovative capabilities. Over 340 visitors entered the A+W booth to find innovative software solutions for their facility.
With an increase in attendance over 2016, A+W’s stand crew had their hands full with the flood of visitors. The team did an excellent job assisting every booth visitor, while also providing excellent customer service! Let’s also not forget our colleagues at glasstec, who made an exciting product portfolio in Düsseldorf possible.
A+W’s CEO Peter Dixen was highly satisfied with the results. "We had more visitors than at previous glasstecs. The audience was more international and well informed. In particular, detailed information on our new productswas in demand. The feedback was clear: A+W is on the right path into the digital future with a software generation that focuses on improved ergonomics and mobile devices in addition to new intelligent functions.”
