Date: 16 October 2007

Aluplast and Plastmo Profiles Limited have agreed a strategic alliance, creating a significant player in the UK window and door systems industry.

This positive move is a great strategic fit for both parties and will see the continuation of both brands in the UK market which will include Plastmo’s Index, Vogue, Slidex, Rollex and Charisma products alongside aluplast’s advanced Ideal 70 system. The trading relationship will see aluplast re-locate it’s UK operations to the Plastmo facility in Northampton, which has benefited from considerable investment over recent years and will provide the new venture with significant operational capabilities. The all-round strength, marketing skills and resources of Plastmo will also be combined with the advanced technological capabilities and considerable global resources of aluplast.

aluplast chairman Manfred J. Seitz adds “This is great news for customers of both aluplast and Plastmo and will see us all go from strength to strength”.
