So, what’s new in the Master Fitter Challenge 2019?
Firstly, the main change is that there will be no final at the FIT Show itself. Feedback and research has told us that more installers would be interested in putting themselves to the test if the competition was run ‘on the ground’, with a series of tasks and ‘real-life’ challenges leading to regional finals, with the overall winners being chosen from those who reach this stage.
Running the challenge regionally gives us the opportunity to reward more people for their skills as they progress through the stages, and to update participants and supporters along the way. Regional participants and regional winners will receive van stickers to acknowledge their achievements, along with prizes donated by our sponsorship team.
A chance to nominate
For the Master Fitter Challenge 2019 we also want to give people the opportunity to nominate installers who buy their products. Anyone who buys your product directly or through an installer network can be nominated.
All you need to do is give us their name, company and phone number and we will do the rest.
We will make contact to say they have been recommended as a possible entrant to the Master Fitter Challenge. There is no obligation on them to accept the invitation, that is their choice, but we would like as many people to be get involved as possible, and this new way of nominating for 2019 should certainly help to achieve that.
