AGC Automotive Europe confirms acquisition of NordGlass during State visit to Poland

In the presence of His Majesty the King of the Belgians during his State visit to Poland, confirmation of a transaction was signed by Jean-Marc Meunier, General Manager of AGC Automotive Europe, and Jacek Woźniak, Partner and Board Member of Enterprise Investors, which manages Polish Enterprise Fund VI, for the acquisition of the NordGlass, company which operates on the automotive replacement glass (ARG) market.   This acquisition represents a significant expansion to AGC's ARG network in Europe, making it the leader on this market. On completion of the signature, Jean-Marc Meunier declared: "This acquisition will permit the expansion of both our companies, as there are real complementarities in commercial and industrial terms.

I am also convinced that the NordGlass personnel will bring real added value to our Group."



AGC Automotive Europe Based in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), AGC Automotive Europe is a member of AGC Glass Europe, which in turn is the European branch of AGC Group. The AGC Group, with Tokyo-based Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. at its core, is one of the world’s major suppliers of flat, automotive and display glass, chemicals and other high-tech materials and components.
