Advanced Energy®—a Rockwell Automation® Encompass™ Product Partner—Showcases Technologies for Thermal Processing at Automation Fair® 2015 presented by Rockwell Automation

Date: 20 November 2015

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS), the world leader in precision power conversion, will present its technologies for thermal processing at the annual Automation Fair event in Chicago, November 18-19.

Advanced Energy (AE), an Encompass product partner in the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork, will spotlight its Thyro product line of SCR power controllers that provide proven solutions for electrical heating applications.Using ODVA-certified Ethernet/IP communications, the Thyro-A™, Thyro-AX™, Thyro-P™ and Thyro-S™ products interact directly with Rockwell Automation Logix PAC® systems.A new add-on profile (AOP) makes communication configuration and network connection even easier. This provides system integrators and designers requiring precise thermal profiles and process control—in markets such as industrial furnaces, steel, glass, petro-chemical and more—an integrated solution for their manufacturing lines.

“We continue to implement advanced capabilities in our technologies for thermal processing, and, through our partnership with Rockwell Automation, we provide certified, easy-to access and easy-to integrate products,” said Yuval Wasserman, president and CEO of Advanced Energy. “The Thyro-Family, with the new AOP, delivers a smarter connectivity solution that simplifies integration of our power controllers with Rockwell Automation Logix control systems.”

Advanced Energy is an Encompass product partner in the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork. The Encompass product referencing program allows customers to quickly locate complementary products that best solve any application challenge. Participation in the Encompass program allows Rockwell Automation customers and distributors to easily add referenced products to new proposals and system designs.

Advanced Energy will showcase its technologies for thermal processing—including its SCR power controllers and non-contact temperature measurement systems—at the upcoming Automation Fair event, November 18-19, in Chicago presented by Rockwell Automation. AE experts will be available at the company's booth (#601, McCormick Place West) to demonstrate these products and discuss how the company continues to innovate, developing and integrating the latest in automation technologies.

In addition to its technology showcase in the exhibition hall, the company is pleased to participate in the following technology forum:
