Vitrum 2015 re-affirms its role as a highly specialized trade exhibition

Date: 7 October 2015

Attendance data on the first Vitrum 2015 day clearly show the keen interest of trade professionals in the 19th edition of the Italian event focused on the glass industry.      3,252 specialists and professionals, 2,066 of whom from abroad, visited the pavilions in the Fiera Milano Rho complex, a showcase of the finest technology applied to flat and hollow glass.Despite a slight decrease ( - 3 %) vs. the first day of the previous edition, Vitrum, unlike other shows, once again proved to be the ideal venue to find out about the most advanced and sophisticated glass processing techniques.Research and innovation are Vitrum 2015’s main highlights and are reflected not only in the products on display but also in the partnerships that enlivened the program of special events during the four days of the show, such as the 30th ATIV conference (scheduled for Thursday, October 8th in Sala Aquarius – Centro Servizi Congressi – Rho Fiera Milano) and the exhibition of the product concepts developed by the students of the Milan Polytechnic University during a workshop promoted by Vitrum.
