With this addition, Viracon offers a tool for designers and architects to balance aesthetics, natural light and solar heat gain while enhancing energy performance.VRE-65 achieves this balance through maintenance of Light to Solar Gain (LSG) ratios from 1.25 to 1.80.
VRE-65 combines form and function with the same neutral appearance as other Viracon coatings. It offers superior aesthetics, including high light transmission (59%) that allows two-way vision under varying light conditions and aids in controlling glare. Designers and architects can specify VRE-65 on any standard glass substrate or same surfaces as DigitialDistinctions™ and silkscreen patterns. These features create complete flexibility of product use and greater design options.
VRE-65 joins VRE-38, VRE-46, VRE-54 and VRE-59 to further extend the range of insulating glass options offered by Viracon.
