“Vantastic” Success at Listers

Date: 20 August 2010

Lister Trade Frames of Stoke on Trent are already well known for the wide range of Elitis Branded marketing materials that they provide for their trade customers.

Now they are helping their customers with vehicle livery and as you might expect from Listers, they are going a lot further than just dishing out some van stickers.

Mark Warren, Listers MD said that he wanted to help make Listers Trade Installers some of the best presented in the industry: “We have provided branded customised sales literature, signboards, drop cards and websites etc for many years and this has helped Listers customers look more professional. However we noticed that some of their vehicles were looking a little tired so we offered to provide them with a full ‘design and sign’ writing service.”

It’s often the case that smaller to medium installers are just too busy with their everyday business to have the time to arrange for new vehicle signage, and yet this can be one of the most cost effective means of advertising. “Some installers will spend thousands of pounds on newspaper adverts while neglecting their own ‘mobile business advertising’... their van!” Mark Says, “We have just completed four vehicles under the ‘design and sign’ service and the customising has lead to instant success. We currently have 6 more companies using our new service.”

Listers have approached this project with the installers branding clearly in focus. Each vehicle is designed around the Trade Installers identity with their own colours, message and proposition clearly presented. Then complimentary graphics and accreditations are added and woven into the design is the Elitis Brand details which ties into all of their customer’s marketing materials.

Paul Wiggins, one of Listers trade Installation customers, was among the first group to receive his customised vehicle “It is just tremendous!” Says Paul, “I have received a number of compliments on the new look van and I think that it is the best piece of business advertising that I have ever had. Listers took care of everything for me and I now feel proud to arrive on site with my new vehicle.”

This new initiative seems to be proving a great success for Listers business too. With record sales in June and July, and a number of new local customers signing up to sole supply agreements because of Listers full range of exceptional business support, Mark says “it’s really Vantastic news!”
