Linker Fabricating and Machining, Ltd. out of Strathroy, Ontario is now home to the latest and greatest in waterjet cutting with a brand new Techjst-X3® complete with a PAC 60™ 5-axis bevel cutting head and the TECHNI Quantum NXT™ electric servo pump.

The journey with Linker began with a visit to the 2017 FABTECH show held in Chicago, Illinois. Al Linker, founder and owner of Linker Fabricating and Machining, Ltd. had heard about other Canadian industrial/fabrication shop owners making the change from hydraulic pumps to the TECHNI™ electric servo pump, of the increase in productivity and efficiency they were experiencing with the transition; so very impressed with the news and reviews others offered regarding TECHNI™, he had to see it in action for himself.

“When at the show, we checked out all of the other competitors. We even set a date for one of the top competitors to pay us a visit. We were very impressed with all that TECHNI™ had to offer, but we wanted to weigh our options.”

Al Linker continued:

“The other guy took far too long to contact us and when we reached out to TECHNI, Jim (TECHNI U.S. National Sales Manager) and Dan (Owner of SAMZAC, TECHNI™ dealer) were great to work with.

Dan had arranged a meeting in no time and we made a trip to a local fabrication shop that had recently purchased a TECHNI™ system. As a matter of fact, the other sales representative from the competitor called us on the ride home from our tour and I told him we were going with TECHNI™ because of the pump and he said ‘Well, we can’t touch that pump.’ The rest is history!”

“It was all about the pump. Period.” confessed Mr. Linker, which is a sentiment understood amongst many industry leaders in fabrication. The TECHNI Quantum NXT ™ Gen 4 is the most advanced waterjet pump in the world with unprecedented pump intelligence with real-time feedback.

The maintenance is yet another facet to the tremendous popularity of the pump with quick-change seal components at under 10 minutes, being the fastest seal change in the industry. Longer component life and reduced production stoppages equal less downtime and higher profits and lower operating costs.

TECHNI Waterjet™ values the relationship shared with each customer.

Mr. Linker states:

“We began in 1997 with a Shear and a C&C Break. To have the TECHNI™ today is just awesome! The TECHNI™ was a good fit for us as we have already increased productivity by 50%.” He went on to state, “We look forward to a long relationship with TECHNI; a very good marriage.”

The team at TECHNI™ shares the same feeling and thanks Linker Manufacturing for joining the TECHNI™ family.
