Spray Coat Line from Casso-Solar Technologies

Date: 7 September 2015

Casso-Solar Technologies will debut a new spray coat line with an optional infrared/convection dryer at GlassBuild America.   The system can coat glass up to 96 inches wide with no limitation on maximum or minimum part size.

Glass thicknesses of 1 inch are possible and the system automatically detects the part and shape to minimize overspray. The parts are conveyed on a continuous belt that is protected with a recyclable kraft paper or plastic sheet. Organic coatings for kitchen countertops and backsplashes, ceramics for spandrel applications, silicone coatings, mirror backing coatings and specialty coatings are all applicable to the new coating line. Coating thicknesses are up to 5 millimeters when wet. Two reciprocating high efficiency HVLP spray guns with a wide range of paint viscosity capabilities apply all coatings. Both water base and solvent paints can be used in the system, which includes automatic spray gun cleaning and system stop when there is no product present. The system's dryers are a convection/infrared combination, and designed based upon the type of ink/paint being processed. Optional load tables, unload tables and cooling systems are available from Casso-Solar.

Pre-Show specials are available with discounts on all systems ordered at GlassBuild America.
