Solaglas Windowcare appoints expert to target retail sector

Emergency repair specialist Solaglas Windowcare has appointed Phil Rogers as national account manager to spearhead the Saint-Gobain-owned company’s growth in the national retail and commercial market.





With a background in the commercial glazing sector, Phil Rogers has strong contacts at a range of high street retails and supermarket chains such as Marks & Spencer, Argos, Tesco and ASDA.



On his new role, Mr Rogers said: “Solaglas Windowcare is a market-leader in the repair and replacement of glass, frames, locks and doors to the insurance industry. The aim is to lever this experience and expertise to rapidly grow the commercial market.



“Its adherence to the highest levels of health and safety is renowned throughout the industry and the company’s use of innovative systems and IT applications offers benefits to retailers in terms of speed of response and real-time management reporting.”

Solaglas Windowcare will offer retailers a comprehensive range of glass and door repair and replacement services, including damage caused by ram raids.

Mr Rogers also has wide experience in the construction industry and has advised architects, designers and contractors on some of the many uses of glass, toughened glass assemblies, spider-bolt systems, fire and anti-ballistic glass.



A Merseyside resident, he was proud to provide his beloved Liverpool FC with glass and aluminium frame products during a recent building project at the Anfield stadium.
