Soft-Lite Windows will be sponsoring the Dream Showroom at the GlassBuild America Expo September 16-18, 2015 in Atlanta, GA. Soft-Lite will be displaying its Elements double-hung window with beige vinyl exterior and Brazilian Cherry woodgrain interior, and its Kingsroyal Glide sliding patio door in Soft-White vinyl. Both products will feature Suntuitive self-tinting glass and FlexScreen flexible screens. The Dream Showroom is the focal point of Window & Door Dealer Days at GlassBuild. The 4,400-square-foot pavilion on the trade show floor provides a unique venue for window and door dealers to see the latest technology in residential windows, patio and entry doors, hardware display ideas and more.

Elements Windows by Soft-Lite far exceed all industry standards for energy efficiency, as well as air and water penetration and durability. These high-performance windows incorporate unique features such as K-Beam thermal reinforcement with Kevlar; Comfort Foam™ polyurethane insulation foam fill; Ultra-Smart triple-fin weather stripping; and unique Dura-Sill™ window sill design. These windows offer consumers cost-saving energy efficiency, superb safety and security, and enhanced curb appeal for their homes.

Soft-Lite's Kingsroyal Glide sliding patio door is one of the most unique, durable and energy efficient doors on the market today. What makes this door truly exceptional is that it balances practicality with the luxury and style homeowners desire. Kingsroyal doors feature reinforcement in all four vertical rails; it is, in fact, the only vinyl sliding patio door in the industry to incorporate a foam-filled master frame and reinforcement in all four sash stiles.

Both Soft-Lite's Elements Window and Kingsroyal patio door in the Dream Showroom will feature Suntuitive, a thermochromic interlayer for dynamic windows which lightens and darkens by itself — with absolutely no mechanical or electrical intervention — based on heat and direct sunlight. In winter, it will allow the sun's heat to passively warm a home, but in summer, it will tint to counteract unwanted solar heat gain. Suntuitive is used in conjunction with Soft-Lite's high-performance double-pane glass with Low-E and argon gas, so consumers get the benefits of self-tinting glass, as well as the superb thermal performance that this glass system provides.

Both Soft-Lite products featured in the Dream Showroom will also incorporate FlexScreen flexible screens. These cutting-edge screens feature a simple, revolutionary design that utilizes a PVC-coated, high-performance spring steel frame. FlexScreens are damage resistant and beautifully invisible because they hide in the window or door screen pocket, drastically improving sight lines and eliminating the need for color matching. These flexible screens also offer effortless installation, allowing consumers to simply hold the screen in their hands, bend the sides in, and fit FlexScreen into the screen track.

“We're honored to be part of the Dream Showroom at GlassBuild America,” said Tyson Schwartz, Soft-Lite’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “We are particularly excited to showcase our best-performing windows and doors, in conjunction with some of the newest and most innovative options we offer, Suntuitive and FlexScreen. Soft-Lite is constantly evolving; we are dedicated to continuously improving by researching and introducing cutting-edge new products and options so that we, as well as our dealers and distributors, can remain at the forefront of the industry.”
