The new site is a stripped back version of the main website www.nationalwindscreens.co.uk and only contains information which people on the move will find useful such as brief company and contact details, a branch locator and online booking facilities.Online booking is a new initiative from National Windscreens - the independently owned company has previously concentrated on ensuring its UK Contact Centres operate as efficiently as possible; more than 1,000,000 calls are handled every year and highly trained staff aim to answer over 80% of calls within 20 seconds to ensure customers aren’t kept waiting.
The introduction of online booking provides an alternative channel to book windscreen repairs and replacements for drivers when they need it most, as Regional Sales and Marketing Director Martyn Bennett, explains, “The mobile website is specifically designed to give customers the information they need, at the time they most need it and to offer an alternative to our existing booking process.”
National Windscreens operates 108 UK Fitting Centres - the largest network in its field which enables the innovative company to hold a wide variety of replacement windscreens and vehicle glass in stock to minimise the time spent waiting for deliveries. It also employs more than 800 mobile automotive glazing technicians to ensure customers can access the fastest service possible, wherever they’re located. The independently owned company ensures it offers the speediest windscreen repair service possible with a number of initiatives - it uses advanced IT systems to ensure all booking requests are immediately relayed to its extensive Fitting Centre network so they can be actioned as quickly as possible and equips all of its glazing technicians with the skills needed to undertake all jobs as quickly and efficiently as possible. National Windscreens also offers coverage throughout Europe thanks to its membership of The Automotive Glass Professionals. Customers simply phone the UK Contact Centre and National Windscreens arranges for one of its European partners to carry out the repair or replacement.
