The MSDC Series is three times brighter than their conventional dome illumination series, with highly uniform diffused lighting.
The MSDC series was developed especially to meet the requirements of the food, chemical and pharmaceutical packaging industries as well as increasingly demanding electronic component inspection applications. The newly adopted high-power LED triples the brightness of dome lighting compared to the companies’ conventional dome illumination MDML series, while ensuring a high standard of uniform diffused lighting without reflected glare of LED.
The new product is well-suited for lighting objects with curved and/or glossy surfaces. “We have two different diameter types, 156 mm and 400 mm in four colors. The 156 mm type was developed with thorough lightweight designing, about one sixth of the weight of our conventional product, to increase our customer’s freedom of system installation. The 400 mm type can be efficiently used for a large 300 mm wafer inspection, says Hiroaki Tomono, Product Manager for SCHOTT Lighting and Imaging’s Machine Vision business in Europe.
Main features:
- Constant current control
- Non-halation diffused lighting
- 4 colors available (Red, White, Blue and Green)
- Lightweight design (156mm type)
- 300mm wafer lighting capability (400mm type)
