A state of the art mobile stretch wrapping machine is the latest investment made by Carl F Groupco to ensure rapid deliveries of hardware lines and the Carl F direct range of tools for the window and door industry.

Fondly nicknamed ‘Bob’ by the warehouse staff at the company, the Sfera is a battery powered, self-guiding, mobile pallet stretch wrapper that supports Carl F Groupco’s focus on supplying next day full deliveries for any orders placed before 4pm.

Commenting, Carl F Groupco Managing Director John Crittenden said:

“It is important to stress that automation will never replace the personal touch that is offered by the people that we employ – our staff are second to none, they are all dedicated to our high service standards.

“The advantages of the Sfera include health and safety benefits - due to the fact that the load stays on the floor, the wrapper is ideal for unstable, heavy or oversized loads. Its ability to securely hold pallets aids safe supply and protection in transit. Additionally, it has an environmental advantage as its strength results in an exceptional ability to stretch the wrap resulting in the use of 50% less wrapping material.”

As a leading UK hardware supplier offering over 5,000 products, Carl F Groupco continues to invest in technology and services to maintain its high level of customer support.
